Three Rivers Library has a limited number of volunteer opportunities available and submission of an application does not guarantee hours. In-person volunteers may be asked to do a variety of tasks, including but not limited to program set-up/clean up; preparing for programs or services by cutting, folding, sorting, etc; general library upkeep, such as dusting, pulling books for weeding; or other appropriate tasks.
While we will try our best to accommodate volunteers, we do not guarantee the ability to complete all hours required. If you are 17 years or younger, a parent or legal guardian must come in to sign a consent form. If you have other questions or concerns about in-person volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator Parker at firstname.lastname@example.org or 815-467-6200 x307.
Need more hours or need hours that are flexible? Virtual Volunteers may choose from a variety of tasks that can be completed from home, including but not limited to tutorials, lists, videos, reviews, and more. Virtual volunteering is available year-round for ages 13 years+. (Virtual volunteer hours do not count toward court-appointed community service hours)
