A day of free comics, a cosplay contest, gaming, crafts and more for all ages! Sign-up in advance for the cosplay contest. See full description for details.

Got con fever? Kick the season off with a Free Comic Book Day & Mini-Con at your library! We'll be giving away free comics for all ages (while supplies last) along with events all day from 11-3, including: a video game room in the Teen Lounge, table-top gaming, DIY/craft stations, raffle prizes and a Cosplay Contest! Save the date so you don't miss out on all the fun!

This is a free event open to all ages. No registration is required for the mini-con. 

Sign up for the Cosplay Contest here by May 1st. Same day sign-ups will be offered during the first hour, from 11-12. Info on judging is included in the event details for the Cosplay Contest registration.

About the library

Opened in 1981, the Channahon Library contains collections for adults, children, and teens; access to public computers, fax, and scanning; and a teen room.  It serves as the administrative headquarters of the library district.
