Circulation Clerk

Three Rivers Public Library District is now accepting applications for a part-time Circulation Clerk position, approximately 12-15 hours per week. We’re looking
for team members who enjoy public service, are familiar with technology, and will provide excellent customer service to all patrons of the library. Circulation assistants are expected to:

  •  Greet and direct library patrons
  •  Check library materials in and out
  •  Assist patrons with computers, copiers, and other equipment
  •  Communicate library policies and procedures accurately and courteously
  •  Issue library cards and maintain patron accounts
  •  Perform light clerical work
  •  Answer patron inquiries, and
  •  Other related tasks

The position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of two years in a public service position. Day, evening and weekend hours required. Applications

Youth Services Assistant

DEFINITION: Under the administration of the Youth Services Manager, the Youth Services Assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks in support of the
Youth Services Department. Duties include assisting patrons with reference and reader’s advisory, assisting with preparation of materials for programs, assisting
in managing the juvenile collection and conducting programs as assigned. 

This 15 hour per week position requires day, evening and weekend hours. Applications will be accepted until position is filled. Starting pay is $16.00 per
hour. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (required). LTA, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with
