Join us for a community shred day and let the professionals at Shred-X destroy sensitive materials. Limit 3 boxes per household. You must come during timeframe, no documents will be held.

Have you been collecting bags and boxes of sensitive documents that you can’t just throw away? Join us for a community shred day and let the professionals at Shred-X destroy those papers for you! Drop off materials during the event hours, up to 3 boxes per household, or stay and watch them be shredded. The library will not be able to hold any documents.  No registration required.

About the library

Opened in 1981, the Channahon Library contains collections for adults, children, and teens; access to public computers, fax, and scanning; and a teen room.  It serves as the administrative headquarters of the library district.
